I've been watching Palladia TV network and I recently discovered it on the Comcast package. The network's mission statement is broadcasting live music events like outdoor music festivals and stadium gigs by obscure and famous musicians. The people who attend these shows are just as entertaining and sometimes more compelling than the performers. The programming features music that is below the mainstream radar but the music is very diverse from blues/jazz/and r&b. I dig Darryl Hall's show where he uses his garage as a place for legendary musicians to play.

As evidenced by the Rolling Stone magazine's ranking Prince #2 as the best live acts in the business, he could further get new and perhaps younger fans who want to see him live/or buy his music from earlier catalog. For so long with albums like Rave and 3121, he was trend chasing the TRL and BET crowd respectively and those audiences are flighty about current music from one day to the next. Prince could make a deal and broadcast some shows preferrably with 3RD EYE GIRL. From an industry standpoint he has complained incessantly about the barriers at radio to play his new music. The live demographic seems to be where it's act. Plus with the PLECTRUM ELECTRUM album coming out this year, a rock n roll project would go over well with that market. At least with this idea, it would play to his strength as a live performer and musican.
