I disagree with this. I think the problem was Tony M, not Prince. I actually like Prince rapping, for example in "Gett Off" and "Days Of Wild", as I do like raps by Cat, Diamond and Pearl. Tony Mierda was the shit.

I was shocked to see Madonna, Brian Wilson and David Bowie on this list. GQ Magazine certainly should have made this a list about ACTUAL RAPPERS who are wack like Silk Da Shocker, Lil Zane, Lil B, Crucial Conflict. YouTube these rappers and tell me they don't deserve to be in the places of Madonna, Wilson, Prince and Bowie.

Yeah well Tony M should have been number one, he was terrible, I would put Scrap D and Steppa Ranks up there as well. Prince's rapping was way better, he was at least at Vanilla Ice's level.

Besides "Days of Wild" has got to make up for Push and all that other wack stuff. That thing is off the chain.

Hearing Silk Da Shocker on "It Aint My Fault" featuring Mystikal took the cake for me. As manic as Mystikal's flow is, at least I can hear the rhythm and even understand some of the lyrics. I never understood where Silk Da Shocker's rhyme began and ended. Silk The Shocker also reminded me of a saxophonist who plays wild solos but always has to "guess" how to end it.

To make this kind of a list is a bit harsh, tho I will say he doesn't always seem to have a good feel for what works in regards to rap. Some of it is charming and some of it is wack as hell. "That was the coolest movie EVER!!!"

Prince isvery good at his style of rap.

Big City Boy as an example is great rap joint if u ask me.

Anyone who says Prince is a good rapper, or even "not that bad" is out of their fucking mind. Prince's rapping is HORRIBLE. I think a major issue I have with people here is that most of you are just in denial about certain stuff when it comes to the guy. Prince made GREAT friggin' music in the past, but as soon as he started rapping, everything started to get worse. He deserves to be on this list, & not only that, he deserves to be higher up on the list. I know what real "rapping" is, & it's for dAMN sure not what Prince was/is doing.

Besides, Prince dogged rap, & then started to do it himself......hypocritical like a muthafucka....

This is a valid point. I still say you give the first 25 to Tony M, but we extend the list to 28 slots: #26 goes to Carmen, TC gets 27 and we will put little man at 28.
