new Prince Album will be released via PIAS in France! New Prince album (with 3rdeyegirls) will be released via PIAS in FRANCE in collaboration with Kobalt...no fixed release date at this stage but birds said that this release might see the light of day before the end of the summer....no news about the track listing yet except for the single already known since few months « FixUrLifeUp »!

Yes. PIAS just happens to be Kobalt's physical distribution in France. Kobalt's physical distributor in the States is Alliance Entertainment and they recently had a conference where an attendee tweeted that the 3rdeyegirl/Prince project was promoted during a Kobalt Music presentation.

That's a good thing if the album will be sold in america too,buying something off of ebay is getting old and expensive and i'm not down for it anymore.

I've been reading the credits of the Alt-J album, which was published by Kobalt, and it was also released via PIAS in Spain, so I guess that will be the case with Prince too, in case he really releases something. | |

I'm not digging the studio work of 3EG, but I'll buy it anyway. Especially when "The Breakdown" is on the CD. Imo, that should be the single, not fixurlifeup. | |

FRom a PIAS month's representative this last days > An album was due for release this september but the plan has fully changed with Prince > New material on the way + reworked version of some tunes from the cancelled album 3rdeyegirls project ...the representative said maybe something to be released somewhere this Fall>December of this year or ....pushed back to an unkown date!

I think it is better this way. A Prince and 3rdeyegirl Album and not a solo 3rdeyegirl feat Prince thing, that would not get recognised but the public. i think the new band is hot and he should tour with them worldwide:). |
