It must be amazing to be Prince and be able to draw very talented musicians to work with him and then he turns around & kicks you out - sometimes on very bad terms - and know that all you have to do is call and they will come running back to work with Prince all problems forgotten. That is amazing arrogance.

She wrote about the situation on her blog at the time. Not sure if it can be found now.

I recall her saying that the atmosphere was strange and P paid her 2 weeks notice.
