why isnt there some church SOMEWHERE using his music ? is that church stil going that uses U2 music?

Some years ago, I heard someone playing something that sounded like Purple Rain, but it was obviously gospel.

I asked the person who/what was this and they said, 'Let It Rain' by some church choir and they obviously had Purple Rain as the inspiration. Even the part where he(Prince) tells everyone to raise their hands and does the 'woo hoo hoo hoo part'

And to luvsexy4all, few yrs back some church in Georgia gave a shout out to one of Prince songs and other songs had something to do with each generations music; it was pretty cool, especially when certain members were going down the isle while the song was playing. Would be cool to see that video again. (I should have kept a link).

Could the Music of "Extralovable" fit in a Church?

I used it when I ran my old church's intermediate school praise band!

We did "Guitar" although we changed the lyrics. We called the song "My God". The kids really tore it up, too!

We also did "One of Us".

Prince has been doing gospel his whole career and he's good at it-he needs to do another gospel cd with guest current gospel artist. I'd buy it
