i have mp3 of prince and carlos santana doing santana medley.i think its from 1995 .
medley starts with princes song there are others here with us then after that they rip into santana medley.
AND THERE PRINCE kicked santanas ass on guitar.

intro to santana medley starts with "there are others here with us".
after that intro prince says:i cant leave carlos before he jams with me a little bit.
after that they rip into santana medley.
prince proved here that he is better guitar player.
santana is great but prince kicked him here very badd.

the 1st time they played together was on April 19, 97 in san jose. Did he really play theres others here w/ us? methinks not..

brutha on first album of van halen ,
eddie was soulfull player.after that ,
he is a mehanical guitar player.prince was always great,
but last 2 years he is more then great.
i can give you many great virtuoso guitar playing examples from princes playing from last year.
examples:
1)joy in repetition from new york aftershow
2)just friends/ifwant me to stay-new york aftershow
3)strollin(almost every version from last year)
4)xenophobia live in los angeles
5)whole lotta love vegas aftershow
and many more...
prince plays more fluent then ever.

I saw them at DC 2002 show--that was special.

Even though we think alot of prince on guitar being fans the guitar community dont think much of him heck they always pick dez dickerson as having one of the best solo's on little red corvette and prince no where to be found and its major guitar mag's that put this out i personlly dont know how to change it we have to come togather and vote i guess if anyone has an ideal on putting prince name out there im in.
