5AM is pretty unreasonable for me to be awake to catch a livestream, what with being on a work/sleep schedule and all. Especially with them not being announced ahead of time.
I don't even get to see the Spreecasts, really, except for a couple of occasions. |

. Well...people on the US east coast went 2 bed really l8 on a working day. So that's somewhat similar 2 getting up a little earlier then usual 4 the Europeans imho. In the end any time will b a good/bad time 4 some. I think if USA has 2 stay up l8 and Europe has 2 get up early it's not such a bad choice 2 try and please all. I do agree that advance notice is handy so u at least know when 2 b there...even though 2nite was kinda obvious. [Edited 6/27/13 8:01am] | |

3rd Eye Girl mentionned last night Prince is in the NOW so I guess these are just spur of the moment things while rehearsing at Paisley Park and on PP time...
I think he's testing the waters with livestream so wo knows what the future holds...
Also my opinion is that even "on the road" they could still broadcast spur of the moment stuff live from wherever they are, which would be amazing! ;p

I get what ur saying Serpan99 cuz it will be impossible for them to please all time zones. I think I'd find it a hell of a lot easier to stay up late though, being filled with all that excitement, than I would be deliberately wakening myself up at 3 or 4am just in case I get lucky that night! My day is full on from morning to bed with the children & I'd b a walking zombie & not worth a button if I was to sacrafice essential rest at 4am. It doesn't matter really, realised I'm just not meant to see these broadcasts. Fair doos.  | |

i am in the UK too. Its real easy to save the streams for later. Log into 3RD EYE TV before you go to bed leave your computer on(obviously) go to bed, sleep soundly. When you wake, if there has been an event you will be able to play it back in its entirity in DVR mode. | |

THX [Edited 6/27/13 5:04am] "...Never Be Another Fool" is different. The music sounds somewhat updated, and it's not Chaka singing. It's rumored to be Ledisi but nobody knows for sure I don't think. "Goodbye" is the CB version. And I apparently missed "Nothing Compares 2 U." No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I'm confused by what you're suggesting.
Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken, but I've been in every one of these events so far and, from what I've observed and experienced, the "live streaming" goes on and off throughout a session....meaning that 3EG will broadcast an event, it will stop, there will be nothing "live" for awhile (although the player will remain on screen and you can replay the most recent broadcast again unless you refresh the page, when the player then disappears) and then awhile later another event will begin. On a given night, there might be 4 or 5 broadcasts in total. But each individual broadcast is NOT saved or archived and therefore, when a new event begins, the previous event is gone for good. As in, it is NOT SAVED.
So all this to say is that if one does what you recommend, that yes...the VERY LAST event broadcast that night will indeed still be up and available to watch in DVR mode, but anything broadcast before that very last event won't be available to watch.
Like I said, maybe other browsers work differently? Or I'm just really mistaken? If one does what you said, in the morning do you have multiple little "players" with each of the songs/rehearsals streamed the night before up on your screen? | |

Only the most recent webcast will b available 4 replay in DVR mode if u stay logged in on the page. So u do miss out on previous ones...
