Hi all, I remember reading on here a while back that someone had Planet Earth in a jewel case as opposed to the standard free covermount & digipak. While this isn't of much interest to me, what is is the booklet they said came with it. (And apologies since I've been unable to find the thread in question). Anyway, after quite the search online I can't find anything on this. Discogs, Aprilsnow, nada. Can anyone lay claim to owning a copy of this? Does it actually exist?

yes i 2 remember seeing that thread..it also had pics of the booklet.....ive searched 4 that album in jewel case 4 awhile.....i have 3121 in jewel case (which is rare)...but have yet 2 find that 1

I bought a Planet Earth in a proper case. Can't remember the booklet and can't dig it out as it's in the loft with the rest of my physical media.

The booklet in the Japanese edition isn't that amazing. It's a separate black and white paper booklet with lyrics in both English and Japanese and the front is the same cover pic of Prince but in b&w.

I miss jewel cases, these cardboard ones can and do get damaged.

I have this but it's still sealed. Always wondered what was inside!

I also have a thinner digipak version, again holographic cover, but I cant remember where it was released.

I think this might've been the first time I ever opened it, the plastic sleeve gave a virgin little sound when I opened it, lol. I ripped the newspaper one and then forgot all about the physical copies.

Thanks for the responses guys, it's good to see the pics. I see this is just like your standard Japanese lyric book which comes with most Japanese CD's then. I was under the impression the booklet was made from the same images as the downloadable PDF at the time of the album's release. I guess that settles that then!
