I agree. I love the album version, I should listen to the live one again.

The second solo on "Shhh" from the Beautiful Experience TV-special.

His best use of a guitar solo as an element in a song would be "Joy In Repetition".

Agree 100% So how about his second best? Some contenders: The Ride (the undertaker version, it's so raw & rocking), Fury (SNL version, so cool & flashy), and Kiss (cause it's so funky).

My second favorite might be Little Red Corvette at Coachella.

I like the solo bits at the begining of the ONA Live set, during Rainbow Children and whatnot. Like the Hall of Fame solo, it's not the fireworks that impress but the emotion of the notes played and the images that they conjure up.

...Pink Cashmere. Dreamy, lush (might be the added strings), but almost restrained, one of my faves ever
