When 2 R In Love
Here's a man that will bathe you, lotion you down, cover you with perfume....the same 1 who just told you on SOTT that he'd wash your hair, dress you..........
.
.
I like that.......I like that a lot.
.
.
Not to mention all the other passionate lyrics in that song, but yeah. Easily my favorite from this one, and one of my faves ever.
4 the lovers.

The title track is my favorite. To me,this song combines the best qualities of the SOTT album (horns, complex arrangement) with the risque posturing of The Black Album(outrageous lyrics about race cars and burning rubber,lol).....resulting in a song that feels like a wild rollercoaster ride!

The pop loving Beatles fans hated Sargent Peppers as they just didn't get it. It's understandable. |

2 NITE WE MAKE LOVE WITH ONLY WORDS....GIRLS FIRST... The title track is a BEAST. It's one of his best -- simply brilliant. Everybody on the block says it's the best! Most vital is what they say, more or less. "Love & honesty, peace & harmony" |

For me, Lovesexy was the first major disappointment up to that point. After the glorious mix of funk and rock and soul that was Sign o' the Times, Lovesexy felt rushed and messy. I do appreciate the sincerity behind it and like some of the musicality, but I have always felt that stronger tracks from Camille (or "leftovers" from Sign) should have made it into Lovesexy. Why "The Line" wasn't part of the track list is beyond me. |
