One glaring song missing from this tour

Where the heck is Computer Blue? Does anyone have the inside scoop on why such a heavy rocker & hardcore fan fav gets no play whatsoever in this tour or any other? It seems like such a natural fit.

I would absolutely love to here him reload this like he did with LGC.

good question. i also wonder why When Doves cry is played on the Sampler and not live "When Doves Scream" style.

seriously.

Also, "When you were mine."

He played it at the Dakota and it was great but he hasn't played it since.

Yep. I agree, it's weird. Maybe they will play it on the upcoming show (possibly) featuring Dr Fink who I think wrote the synth riff)?

The wooh is on the one!

I think you're mistaking all of these choices for "I'm Yours" which would be his original guitar shredder.

I tihnk all those other suggestions have merit, but Computer Blue is arguably the hardest rocking tune from his most popular album. Pretty much an underground classic also. Must be a reason.

Two shows in one night may be part of the problem?

Adding a second "money grab" show that is still fairly earlyhas produced the shortest setlists since the Purple Rain tour.

As P says...so many hits, so little time...for Computer Blue, E&P, Electric Chair, When U Were Mine, My Drawers, Best of You, Just my Imagination, America, etc...

couldn't agree more, i keep checking the set lists expecting for it to finally show up. electric chair is another good call but computer blue would be phenomenal... especially as an opener.

Lol that is exactly how I envisioned it. I would still start with LGC though and then Computer Blue. Nice 1-2 punch. I just really want to hear Prince play an updated version of the solo.
