Seeing it in print and knowing as it draws near that Prince will Be Honored at Billboard Music Awards on May 19... is Music to my ears

If there ever were an Artist that deserves the reward to be 'Honored,' it is Prince!! His music has contributed so much to so many in a variety of ways!!

Through his sounds, arrangements and lyrics Prince has single handedly raised consciousness and quality vibrations of throughout the world.

Prince has given us so many unique, fun, fascinating experiences through his multiple gifts creating music. To hear the words Prince and Honored in the same sentence puts a huge smile on my face knowing that our genius legend will be recognized once again

So many people have come together because of Princes' musical magnificence. Yet there has been no lack of individual opinions or preferences. Still we can agree on this: Prince indeed shall be Honored!! What some have known for so long, others are just about to find out

I'm really looking forward to seeing this show, and hope that it motivates lots of people. And it's great timing for Prince to be HONORED before bringing the FUNK back to his home in Minnesota. Prince's music is like hearing and feeling liquid love surround you U never know which direction it'll go. There is so much Joy in Princes' sound that the ripple effect is sure to be giving a tremendous feeling of Joy and a boost to the whole world round

For Heaven's sake, I hope Billboard keep's Questlove away from the Billboard Icon tribute. I know Questlove is a big Prince fan, but not everything related to Prince has to be about him. Quest seems like the kind of cat that would befriend Prince's limo driver if it meant being closer to P. The Roots haven't sniffed a hit since being on Def Jam. Maybe if Questlove spent more time focusing on his own career and less on being Prince's buddy, The Roots would be relevant.

ANd he strikes me as a creepy prince fan who wants to know everything about him.. dude needs to chill with his love for Prince
