Last 5 times I saw Prince in Vegas he played till sunrise...2 shows clockin in at 3 hours+....this past weekend both shows clocking in at 80 minutes??? IMHO, I think he ain't proud of his new voyage...watcha think?

If he's actually looking into UK gigs with them then i'd say they passed the audition.

I think the only one who can answer that is Prince. I've never seen 3rdeyegirl perform live, so I have no opinion of them right now. I was fine with the other NPG band members though because they are a very tight band.

I guess it's whatever type of music he is into performing for the moment, may depend on which band members he wants to use. It remains to be seen.

To me it sounds like just the opposite. From what I am hearing he's having a blast with them and loves the fresh energy.

I saw Prince in Vegas a while back in a "rehearsal" with his 'new band' before he went on to tour nationally with Musicology....the show didn't start until 3 and ended at 6:30am...to me that's Prince in heaven! Ending his second Vegas show by 2am??? WTF? I wouldn't' be surprised if he drops the girl befoer Montreux

They're playing 2 shows per night, one right after the other (relatively), so that probably explains why he's not jamming for 3+ hours in one concert.

He IS playing for 3+ hours per night, just over 2 concerts . . .

So u guys are telling that Prince can't be normal and play a 90 minute concert lol? He always has to play lik 270 minutes till the next morning lol?

If he did, I wouldn't at all take that as an indicator that he's... "over them." To me, it just wouldn't necessarily fit the aesthetic of the event.

Somone in the Tempe concert section said that his contract calls for him to only play 75 minutes.

With the 3121 Vegas shows, AEG was trying to get his shows under 90 minutes so people would gamble. What he would do with the 3121 Jazz Cuisine is basically double dip. He would charge entry and make extra money than what was guaranteed at the club contract with AEG. So I'm sure a little reason for those shows going til 5 in the mornin' was to keep people from gambling and spend their money at his restaurant.

Why would Prince be disappointed with the girls, they have all had very good reviews, especially Donna and Hannah? Sounds like Prince is having a ball with them, and vice versa!
