I remember this one, because it was one of the first bootleg CDs I had ever heard. The date of the show was actually February 28, 1982.

maybe you're right because there are more electronic elements present then during the start of the tour.it seems like a transition period from organic to electro funky sound.
For example electronic toms on the break of Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad. It seems like Bobby Z added some electronic drum sounds to his acoustic kit.
I find that concert to be the best concert of Controversy tour that are out there . Prince was on fire. His ad libing to the middle section of When U Were Mine. And i love his heavy use of regular singing voice and a combination with a few falsetto notes. I love the raw punkiness of Annie Christian and Prince's guitar solo on that song is there with his best guitar solos.very raw angry and on point.

I have to disagree with you because the setlist on this one isnt a good as uptown live 2 cds which was live footage that was suppose to have been included in the second coming movie and it also features some really great soundboards on the second disc. I also have to say that prince's guitar playing on head at the met center 1982 in minneapolis was immaculate......his guitar picking sounded like a beat on a closed high hat....it was just that good.....
