Prince live, what are your favourite viewings When I feel I need a pick me up, I watch Prince and the NPG in Arnhem 2010. Always gets me moving. What are your favourites, musically for the different emotions you are feeling, what inspires you? | |

Montreaux 2nd night and Act 1 or Act II show. Its really the only tours i really like by him. The others have highlights and I usually just watch a couple of songs from other shows but but I like these 3 from start to finish. | |

Super Bowl is a major one- I was so proud of him. But, my favorite probably is the Parade warm up show at 1st ave if i had a better quality copy. | |

Well here goes: Controversy Houston '81 : excellent show from start to finish 1999 Minneapolis '83 : first boot I ever saw First Avenue '83 : goes without saying Purple Rain Syracuse '85 : first live show I watched Parade Detroit'86 : Great Vibe to the whole show Lovesexy Dortmund '88 : Again, goes without saying Nude Tokyo '90 : could watch it just for Bambi Septimo '99 : motherless child Rock n Roll Hall of fame '04 : while my guitar gently weeps Brit Awards '06 : first live performance I watched...live on tv BEt awards : 3121 Superbowl '07 21 Nights 1st September : I was there Roskilde '10 : was there too North sea jazz (night 3) '11: and here as well! | |

I live in Indiana and love pro football and when the Colts played the Bears and Prince sang in the rain and the Colts won, it was a gloriour moment for me so I give you that Luv. Very good show all the way around. When that Florida band came out with the horns and the lights on...I almost shite myself. (but will he ever stop that Go Go Go crap? that was the only part I shuddered) | |
