it's on a couple of studio outtake sets but in fact it's actually an official 'release'

isn't it?

i mean, it was aired on the radio and i suppose prince sent it to them himself,

didn't he?

not sure what the story behind this song is, at all.

but i like it.

i wish the quality of the circulating version was a bit better.

I hear a little bit of Love Machine in it as well, it's pretty awesome in my book. The horns are well done. I didn't even know I had it on my computer until I heard it somewhere else.

IIRC, it was sent to Minneapolis radio stations as a promo for the Glam Slam nightclub. The full length track was aired a few times but I also heard it in radio commercials advertising the club, which was new at the time.

He did the same thing again in 1995 when he used "Love 4 One Another (aka New World)" to advertise his Love 4 One Another "club" at Paisley Park.

Entire beat and rhythm is the same style. One came from the other! Also the beat sounds and distorted hihat technique of "good love" = "the future". Must have been the same sessions.
