Love the new music...absolutely love Down and 2 Hot 2 Dare. The latter is definitely about A.A. with all the references to being a rock star, being young, knee high boots, electric hair etc. It also sounds like she's singing in the background or maybe that's Hannah....I'd definitely pay for these two songs!

I've never really been able to relate to many of Prince's lyrics, I've just loved the songs for what they are. I've always related to the likes of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, John Lennon and Roger Waters etc. but "down", now that I can relate to.

agreed, i thought the exact same thing... prince has never been someone i go to for lyrics and leonard is god when it comes to that, but lately prince has been getting better, seems to be writing from a more genuine place.

I enjoyed all 3 songs but yeah "Down" is definitely a really really great Prince song. These are a level above what we've been paying for. Not to sound like Gio but I would like it if these were songs from an upcoming album...
