Goodie 2 shoe #3 over here. Ok listen chickidy, I'm not saying that people should NOT play by the rules. I'm saying that People are NOT going to play by the rules and that other orgers having a hissy fit over it ain't changing anything. Let the mods take care of it, everybody else shut up and keep it about the music. You screaming at somebody for breaking the rules doesnt stop the Prince police from shutting down the music or keep you on his good side or keep the org going. did they stop teaching reading comprehension in school? jeeesh

Evidently they did stop teaching reading comprehension if the rules are so difficult to understand.

If your reading skills are below par and you missed it, a site has already been closed down because of the discussion and links found in this very thread. The site was a great resource for leaks and bootlegs and now it is gone because some assholes couldn't follow the rules. That affects me and others and pisses us off. This motivates some of us to point out the rules to idiots who can't read or use a search engine.

You're on the wrong side of this one, bud.

lol nothin makes me laugh harder than internet tough guys. Listen pal, you get mad cuz someone breaks the rules, but yelling at them changes what? calling them names and demanding they be banned changes what? the damage has already been done. It takes a mod to make a difference not your incessant bitching! You want to be a mod? by all means knock yourself out and go inquire about it through luv4u or langbleu or all the others but crying about it doesn't change anything. If you could read while comprehending you would understand that is what my points been all along. Not this rebellion you speak of like a crazed kool aid drinker. Now kindly fuck off.

^ Everybody's a mod in this place huh? rolleyes get a life and get over yourselves. people wanna hear new music. y'all taking this site and yourselves too seriously and makin yourselves look foolish as hell. This place been around for how long? how many times during each year has people asked where can I get? where can I find? anything happen? did the Prince CIA come for your family? did this site get lost in cyber space? The way people act around here you would think Prince is some sort of communist dictator and anyone looking for his new music will get shot and killed on the spot! It's music. if someone fucks up no need to get sand in your crotch just let the mods do what they do. afterall thats what they volunteer for. Everything is gonna be okay

The only reason this site is still around is because Ben struck a deal with Prince's lawyers to keep them from calling every week and threatening action. Part of that deal was keeping links to bootlegs and youtube videos off of this site. What is so hard to understand about that? This is what Prince's legal team has required when the site has been through the scenario you mock above.

Mods volunteer to do the job y'all seem to want. and that is bitch out the people who mess up then snip their comments and possibly ban them. YOU don't have that power so stfu! keep it about the music and move on. Let them do what they volunteer to do. Nothing changes when you people cry like baby's that "somebody bwoke da wuuuuuules" bawl

There's nothing wrong with the people policing themselves. The net, its websites on them, are akin to a living organism. It is natural and good for those in the system to try to shape and from the system..it does not have to be left to the higher ups. Especially when brash laws of the system are seemingly broken, discarded, or scoffed at.

I would see your point if YOU of thunderfuck or xx whatever or all the others made a difference when they, as you call it "police" the org, but nothing changes from your "policing". I'm sure you guys report these posts right? I positive thunderbutt does. Personally, I disagree with that cuz I hate stool pigeons but whatever, if you're that type of person then isn't that enough? hit the report button and call it a day? adding your whiney comments changes nothing and no one wants to hear it. y'all just sound like whiney, goodie 2 shoe, babys! So once again, until you get the actual ability to snip, ban, or whatever else you wish you could do, shut up and keep it about the subject that you're dicussing. This works both ways Rd. I've seen many a time you tell people to keep it moving or to shut up when something just works the way it works and crying about it aint changing nothing. Why all of a sudden when it comes to Princes art you wanna play the true blue hero?

creative rolleyes The bitching about the rules far exceeds the one complaint about the fact that those who are not mods should shut their pie hole about the infringing of the rules and let the mods do what they volunteer to do. so my point that you oh so creatively flipped to be your point is invalid. try again clown.

This is a pretty silly argument. People who can't find the tracks will ask for them, people who already have them will say "don't dare ask for them". I bet some of the higher ground orgers who are bashing the newb behaviour would be asking too had they not found them already.

But the point is this. Posting links is just stupid. It will get the said material removed and get The Org in shit. So what's the point in doing that? Likewise asking for links is dumb. Because if anyone does answer, then result will be the same. Again pointless behaviour.

We can't post links. We can't ask for links.

Them's the rules, for a very valid and real reason. Prince has a bank of lawyers waiting to pounce on anyone who he deems punishable. We know it, we have seen it, it happens.

It's not a matter of opinion.

Incidentally, I looked for the tracks this morning MYSELF and found them in 3 minutes. They are around again.

ohhh no! i'm shaking in my wittle boots... hahahhaa you gonna report me ya snitch? you can't deal with the fact that it's borderline retarded to bitch people out for infringing on the rules even though you complaining changes absolutely nothing? Are people (right, wrong or indifferent) going to stop asking "where can I find?" or posting links because Errant told them to stop? hahahahahahahaha get over yourself!

Yes this is pretty close to my point. People are going to screw up or act like "rebels" by posting or asking but getting in to fights with them or policing them does what? let the mods do what they are SUPPOSE to do and y'all stop playing the hero and get over it. That's ALL I have been saying. But somehow everyone has taken that as: EVERYONE ON THE ORG, FORGET ABOUT THE RULES! DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! hahaha seriously, reading comprehension goes a long way people

The point you seem to miss is that, because the mods are volunteers, they are not here 24/7. So if another member happens on a post with a link, warns the poster of the consequences of same, and can get it removed before the Purple Police happen on it, we're all to the good. Then...when a mod does get here, they can exact any punishment due.

It's like if I see some kid (sans parents) cutting up in the real world, I don't hesitate for a second in telling said kid to knock it off. This is my house, too - I don't want it locked up because someone else couldn't mind their manners.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
