Having read someone on here say that they thought Good Love was one of Prince's worst 80s songs, i thought i'd start a stopic to disagree.

Disagree to the point where i'm calling their mother fat and telling them their a misguided fool.

It's one of the best from Crystal Ball and that track along with 'Feel you Up' made me love the camille album so much. Good Love is cheesy - but we're talking about Prince here.

I like Anita Baker's song, Good Love.

Good Love is a great song! I'm still looking for the long version from the Bright Lights Big City soundtrack. I was sooo disappointed when I found out that the version on Crystal Ball was edited. When I first heard it back in '88 I played it over and over and over.

I love it too! Its fun.

Agreed - it's great, happy funk with a sorbet-light pop touch! And the breakdown at the end, fantastic, coulda/shoulda been wilda and longa!

great tune! funky, fun, some excellent playing on it 2. defo one of the highlites on disc 2 of CB. what's not 2 like? somethimes i think some folk on the org get 2 hung up on the era, r the song credting to different people... camille, npg etc. if it's good it's good, that's all the matters!
