cook up some rice

over boil an egg

flick through the paper

buy a stamp from the post office

walk to the train station

call my mum

iron 3 shirts and a couple of skirts

fix my hair

make a breville with melted cheese and tomato

sew the hem of my work pants

ruin a new pair of shoes

work up a sweat

My list of things to do whilst listening to this track...

1. Press stop

2. Press Skip

3. Eject CD

4. Turn volume down to 0

5. Leave the house

6. Try out some very expensive ear plugs

7. Put the telly on and turn it up really loud until you can't her the track any more.

8. Cut your speaker wires

9. Invite someone you don't like round, then turn it up really loud and leave the house.

I've actually voluntarily listened to that track multiple times - all the way through!

(But then again, I also listen to the 12" version of 'America' all the way through as well...)

It's a fun song. I've always been amused by it.

I like it, but it's taking up 15 minutes on an outtakes disc that already wastes 30 minutes with blank space.

While cutting the guitar solo from Crucial short. And removes a random 45 seconds of Good Love, just for good measure.

15 minutes is plenty of time for me to log on to Prince.org and find out what you lot are bitching about today!

i think possibly THE worst thing prince has released (this also includes Purple And Gold and There'll Never Be Another (Like Me)) absolutely aweful, just think what could have occupied the cd space instead, another 3 or 4 jems from the vault.

I never understood the appreciation for this 'song', it is a demo best locked in the Vault.... consider this was released when gems such as Moonbeam Levels, Inalargeroomwithnolight, Everybody Want What They Don't Got were left in the vault.....criminal!!!
