I want to know who was the person behind morris (in the mirror in the opening sequence) that seems to duck out of the shot?

I think it's assumed that that tape that they let Jill listen to, and make sure she gets it to the Kid and he play it on piano after his father suicide attempt is the song

I can see Lisa & Wendy knowing th chords

There probably should have been some kind of band scene where they are all rehearsing it without the Kid

Funny though, Prince has been doing that kind of stuff in his live shows or moreso the aftershows

like during the Lovesexy aftershow where he introduces Rave and and a few other songs like he just made it up right there

I thought prince did walk in on wendy and lisa and the band working on their own tunes .. then they broke into lets go crazy to please him. I think it is suggested that the tape prince rewound a few times to get the chord may have had a full work up of the song and prince wrote his words around the structure of the song on the tape already. Therefore .. implied is that they rehearse their own stuff without prince .. and prince had access to a full work up of the song .. so imediately upon Prince announcing that it was a wendy lisa song they knew what he wanted to play.

How the opening to PR has folks going apeshit at him doping Lets Go Crazy and then its all about Prince and the Band may be fired becasue they are on some different plane etc.

WTF?

Every performance after the opening one fomr The Time to A56 was some doo doo lol

But we are lead to beklieve that The Rev was on the way out the door? Shit, Beautiful Ones one song shit outdid Morris and his meager move hips stage demenaor shit lol.

If Billy wanted something "commercial, something that would work every night" wouldn't it make more sense for him to let Dez's group go?

I definitely didn't want to be a mountainair or whatever it was that they were singing about!

Oh Lawd! I understand that The Kid's antics may be bad for business, but dude dancing like that has to be just as bad!!!

Yeah, she would not have been able to get dressed that fast. Wetness and anything tight-fitting doesn't work!

I bet he was better than Prince and his monosyllabic speech and tone.

Hell..when he came late to the rehearsal and he asked where the girls were and Mark looked at his watch? lmao that was his "nikka please" moment.

It reminds me of that voice he does in the Prince of Paisley Park thing when he goes something like "trying to make fun of me eh?" It's like his white and nerdy voice he does on record sometimes (Bob George cops, Family Name politicians) lol
