I guess they all got 'duped'. By the way, during the show DrF was asking if 3rdeye should pay for the music she or he downloaded on that twitter account, and pay the NPG band members/Prince for it, since 3rdeye downloaded 4 of Prince's tracks without permisson and gave it away to the fans for free? I'm curious..do you think If 3redeye paid Prince and his camp a fee for those tracks, then do you think then she/he should be allowed to post the music?

Thank goodness here in Australia it is 2pm and I have the day off work, so was able to listen to this dribble whilst I cleaned the windows in my house........

Seriously?????? This was TERRIBLE to say the least..............and I feel really angry - all it told me was that there are going to be NO remasters (with a poor excuse of:due to the internet and people D/L for freeeeee) and NO live DVDs .................(which I so very much hoped would be big news.....to finally get a great DVD release).

Oh wow - we can go to a party at PP if we want to save up a stack of money to get there - this is hardly a global fan "people pleaser" is it?

The only ones happy will be the ones that live close enough to go.

So bottom line is (1) no live DVD and (2) no re-masters.

But if you are $$$$ you can fly to USA for a PP party (and watch a concert DVD when you are there).

I was only on at the very end for a couple of minutes. I had on glasses and a blue shirt. I think Prince was probably watching, so now he knows what my dining room looks like.

Yeah, DrF mentioned that fans would be able to watch concert DVD at PP only At least that's what I got from that conversation. I was a little surprised to hear that. You can watch a taped version of the show for anyone who miissed it.

My understanding of that was I think Dr F said that Prince is waiting until he can have all his masters at once? And then he is not keen on releasing as he does not like the way that things are D/L from the internet for free and "how will he get paid" for the work he does with them?

Someone can correct me if I got that wrong............but that is how I heard it.

Prince is toying with the idea of website and selling music through the internet but nervous people will steal it. So would we pay for it? I think if he is worried people will steal it. People will steal it from here until the end of time some people will steal it. IMO he should take preorders one album at a time and once it reaches the amount of preorders he is happy with release it. He will never stop all the downloading. He should learn to count the money he makes, instead of worrying about the money he missed out on imo.

Also if he makes a lot of his released material unavailable how can he complain about someone not paying for it? The only way to get some of his previous releases is DL it.

Funkenberry asked him when he was interviewing Andy Allo and was going into questions about the 35 year rule but Prince brushed off the question and seemed frustrated. He wants all his music back now.

the doc told prince (either prince asked him during their conversation or the doc just mentioned

it of his own accord, i didn't catch that) that people would want more dvds of his shows.

then prince said something like 'well should i open up the park and let people watch them?'

so the doc explained 'no prince, people want to take them home and watch them again and again"
