AvengingToxic	Same Page Different Book- Garbage Rock & Roll Love Affair remix- This should have been the original. It's superior by FAR! Lay Down- Had potential. Female vocals still ruin it. Bambi- The band needs work, but damn it's good to hear the full version of this song live. FINALLY!

One more listen to Bambi and I kept thinking that like Paul McCartney, Prince should play with the living members of Nirvana. How much would Bambi killl with then? Decent version of the song, just needs more experienced and dynamic rock and roll players supporting Prince.

The band during the Bambi rehearsal is all over the shop. Something Ive NEVER heard with a Prince band before!!

Compare it with the version on the Undertaker, and its pretty shit.

Aside from that, its good to see/hear new stuff.

sad sound

awefull lyrics (c'mon Prince!)

not funky

including a rap ??

poor drum playing

even poorer percussion fill-ins

the breaks are boring and predictable

(what happenend to exciting sound changements and structures in general?)

cheap two-chord structure, like most of P's inventions lately it seems.

(...or is this a demo ?)

'R'nR Love Affair' (the original radio version) is a decent attempt to a normal song with great production sound, but still it's mediocre.

I'm glad though so many people like whatever Prince throws out there. Means everybody's hungry for whatever there is to get our ears on. wink

Don't get me wrong, the more he get's out of these dusted vaults, the better ! Even if it's plain shit or a boring.
