Until minute five: great version of ICNTTPOYM, for once straying from the usual path. And then it rapidly descends into crapville.

Yeah, there's a similar part on the original solo as well (I'm comparing it to just the live version on the SOTT film as of writing this as its readily available for streaming and I'm too lazy to get the CD). It's not the same, but similar enough considering the different tempo and the change of the register for the solo. His picking isn't very clean on it, but what he does during that part isn't the type of "shredding" that I usually see people calling "wankery" (it almost sounds like he's simply playing a chord really roughly).

I do agree you with the "boasting" part being irksome, but it's not like I'm not used to that from him by this point. I'm not really that fond of this performance on the whole.

I havent dowlnlaoded anything either--but was sent two emails of folks who did and sent me them.
