I haven't listened to it since I bought it - but... played North and East last night during Christmas festivities and someone asked "who was that?" Again, there are way too many people out there that have never gone past Purple Rain. Safe to say, with all His censorship, Prince is the worst PR man in the biz. He's missing out on million$.

I don't listen to it often(probably about a month ago I had it on repeat for a few hours) but have always liked it. I have to be in that instrumental mood. When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

Gotta jump in and pledge my support for this album. I always appreciate a bold move from Prince, even when it doesn't quite work... but this one works very well, in my opinion.

This album is best when played at pretty high volume on a good set of hifi speakers. If you sit down and enjoy it for what it is, and not for what it isn't, then you might have a good experience.
