FAVOURITE RENDITION - Little Red Corvette I know it's easy to grow accustomed with familiar songs but those opening lines to Little Red Corvette are truly out of this world, and in my opinion, the most enticing on any Prince record to date.
What's your favourite performance of this all time classic? Mine is during the Purple Rain tour; that repititive synth intro really builds the song into something explosive. I guess I should have known By the way you parked your car sideways That it wouldn't last By the way, what the fuck does that mean?!

My favorite performance of LRC was at Hit and Run 2001 in Atlanta, GA. Sure it's the only time I've seen him perform it, but nevertheless, I thought that chair dance with Geneva was sexy The message you're about to hear is not meant for transmission
Should only be accessed in the privacy of your mind The words are intense so my dear if you dare to listen Take off your clothes Meet me between the lines

The version from the 1982 Detroit show on City Lights. It's the only tour that he performed the song in its entirety and did it justice.

New Power Soul Tour, Wembley Arena in '98.
The way it just built up and then Prince appeared and everyone clapped in perfect time to it. For those few moments everything seemed right with the world ...

I like any version where he does a really long synth intro. The one on the 85 PR Tour video is great. Complete with Wendy throwing flowers to the audience
