I don't really get his persistence in putting out physcical copies without making a digital version available, it's only costing him more $ in the long run. I guess he's as nostalgic as some of his fans. But really, if he wants to make $, he needs to put it out in a digital format, it just doesn't make any sense not too. It would be better if he puts it out than let the bottleggers do it, he'll only make $ one way.

So ~~~~ This song is being released in the U.S on November 22nd??? THANKGIVING DAY???? I have never heard of that.. ?? I wonder if and when it will actually come out....

Since Rock and Roll Love Affair is to be released on Thursday, does that mean we can expect to see the video out that day too? Perhaps even a preview in the next few days from Dr Funk or even Andy, or would that be too confusing with her album also being released at that time??

I dont know why people on this site are so ready to give his majesty so much stick everytime he releases something new or slightly different.Rock N Roll love Affair grew on me after a few listens and count me in for a pre-order for it's 22nd november release with all the mixes.i'm only annoyed that i can't get an MP3 or M4A download or better still an entire album bolted onto the song instead of just a load of remixes.I hate house music and wish there was a techno version but thats my only critisicms.Why a physical format only anyway???people can still convert it into mp3's and pass it around torrents anyway.you have to compete with those dishonest or you will make no money.the old ways of releasing music are just that...OLD.

No, not at all. Because it doesn't have a strong melody. Good pop songs have a great melodies. Prince once was a master creator of great melodies. This song isn't catchy at all.

See, told you Radio 2 would play it. The station for old fuckers like me. It's a middle of the road AOR song for middle of the road AOR people. Radio 2 is not young, is not fashionable and does not play anything that courts any controversy or challenges in any way. I knew from the start that this would be the perfect station for Love Affair. Day time listening of course. It's the kind of song my mum would hum. She's seventy.

Yes, I know, I have just ordered from HMV who are saelling it at £15.00 with free postage, they also have the CD for £10.00.

However, I have been here before only for singles to be cancelled on release dates.

I suppose this pricing means we don't have to speculate about a chart placing.
