I was thinking the same thing when i saw the vid lmao

I thought Prince had got rid of the Phalanax of bodyguards, that guy looks like hes 400lbs and ready to pulversise that little white boy into dust.

maybe P should be begging bands like this to hang out with him so that he could get a bit of his fuckin' mojo back. Someone needs to pin P down and make him listen to the first minute of Pumped up kicks - which is better than almost everything he has done in the last 10 years.

Please! Who was begging to get back into who's gig? Not only could Prince get into one of their gigs(with an iPhone5 on full display) he could walk up onstage with the NPG and take it over in 10 seconds flat!

I never understood why Prince is such a jerk about stupid things like this. He really needs to lighten up and stop being so mean and angry at people and the world. I have to admit though its hilarious to hear about someone as ridiculous about things as Prince is. I guess he has to get attention someway

Prince has had a "no pictures/no video" policy for over a decade now. It should be a non-issue for fans at this point. He has a policy. Security and the venue enforce it. It's not a surprise! If you think it's too much then don't attend the show or better yet don't try to take footage and just enjoy the music.

it's appaling, so pleased with it's own failed attempt to be hip and trendy it's nauseating. it's for people who think they're groovy because they own the complete collection of friends on dvd. ploddy non-music that has no heart, soul or humanity. it's the complete antithesis of indie, that piece of shite has been marketed out and used in tv montages for what seems an eternity.

if you want to listen to some good hip ethereal stuff then try polica or friends but don't settle for this wet middle of the road cack.

the main point is that in the big scheme of things my opinion and for that matter all of yours mean nothing to P. It's just a fact that IMHO his actions continue to facinate and frustrate me in equal measure - there just is never a dull moment in purple land. However I have long since stopped looking at him for musical inspiration as there's just too much good new / challenging music out there and likewise I still see other ledgends still delivering the goods i.e. Dylans last one and dare i say even Tom Jones is delivering albums of real note and worth[yes I said it!].

Prince can be amazing but for reasons that truly continue to baffle he chooses to release crap - IMHO!.
