Prince has had a "no pictures/no video" policy for over a decade now. It should be a non-issue for fans at this point.

What do you mean?

`The fans should have gotten used to that by now`?

If you have knowledge of something and it's printed on the ticket then you've been informed beforehand. Getting indignant after the fact is stupid. It's not a surprise that they announce after the third song.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Actually Pumped Up Kicks is original sounding, nothing like a Crowded House song. Foster The People are the best new indie band around but some people don't get it, like dumb Prince fans who can't dig anything that isn't remotely funky or Prince-sounding.

Oh, wait - I just saw that you called me 'buttmunch'! In light of that, I've just come to realize that Foster the People are probably the best band that has ever existed... and their fans are even better!

i was renamed "robertgeorgeisanob". clearly we are dealing with a comedic genius. i feel suitably chastised and humbled and would like to take this opportunity to retract and concede to a higher intellect.

"pumped up kicks" is without doubt the greatest, most vital piece of music released in the last 50 years. it is the essence of cool, and i just can't stop listening to this eclectic work of art. compared to foster the people prince's whole catalogue, including his much lauded 80s output is irrelevant.

don't play me...i'm over 30 and i DO smoke weed....

I never understood why Prince is such a jerk about stupid things like this. He really needs to lighten up and stop being so mean and angry at people and the world. I have to admit though its hilarious to hear about someone as ridiculous about things as Prince is. I guess he has to get attention someway

Maybe he doesnt want filming because then everyone in the audience would be holding up their phones instead of enjoying the show an making him feel like a specimen in a cage.

Mean and angry at people? He isnt being Axl Rose, pointing out people to get thrown out. He had posted warnings and its the staff who check and take charge. Stop acting as if you know what is in Princes heart. You come off as a dumbfuck when you do that. Then again your screen name could be referencing your arms, hence your post, hell I dont know.

actually i am a dumbfuck because for some reason i still follow Prince. dont really know why because his music is crap nowadays. i admit, i am a dumbfuck but hey..i dont care

I guess that is a too simplistic view of reality, same as Shelby has w.r.t. unauthorised works of a certain artist.

People have cerain urges.

Then there's technological developments.

And lack of catering to markets.

Next are textual developments on tickets that point in a different direction.

Especially any whatever stupid rule on a ticket cannot be expected to be obeyed.

Also the arguments for enforcing the stupid rules are quite weak.

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

nod Pumped Up Kicks , Helena beat, Houdini, Call It what You Want.. are awesome songs by the ways Crowded House (Neil Finn) are a great underrated band smile

If you think it's too much then don't attend the show or better yet don't try to take footage and just enjoy the music.

^this. obviously. and, it was prince's security, not prince himself who refused entry

Yup. Prince probably didn't know anyone was taking pictures, he was too busy performing. His people on the other hand are always watching for infractions. So there you have it.

Which is why he'll be profiled on VH1's "One Hit Wonders"!

Along with some guy named Kevin that was supposed to be the next Prince, and had a good song, which I have forgotten what the title was, but it had a line in it that was something like "I wish I was cool like you" and I think Lil 50 Cudi or some rapper was on it.

That guy and Foster will be on the next episode of "One Hit Wonders", you just watch.
