Nothing in that article, that I've read since Lisa put it out suggested that David Coleman wrote the glamorous life, David played cello on it, Lisa never said David made the song but that he created the cello piece and played it

David Coleman created string work on this song and some other, Prince had David Coleman, Jonathon Melvoin, Novi Novog working with him on a lot of stuff for the Purple Rain ATWIAD & Parade era music

C'mon we all know prince was only as good as the bandmates he stole from. Hell even the Sexy MF chorus was written by Tony M. He's been on a steady decline in quality thievery for years.
