20/10 2010 - two years ago today "20TEN 20TEN" - a unique date and a great day it was as I then saw my 2nd Prince show (1st one was 20 years earlier on the Nude tour) at the Forum in Copenhagen. After the wonderful main show (Ida's home debut including bass battle with P) I finally got a guard to tell me "yeah, he's playing an aftershow at Amager Bio". I rushed to the subway ang got help by some locals to find the way - to a long line in the middle of the freezing night. Well, I wasn't going to give up the chance to see my first aftershow so after a looong wait we finally got in. As Prince entered the stage and started playing Stratus it felt completly surreal just being 10 meters away from the guy I've listened so much to since 1984. And thanks to tapers and Uci I can relive both concerts on both audio and video (most of it anyway) in good quality - best souvenirs I can think of Was planning on posting a picture I took, but some other time perhaps... | |
