He has done 319 and Shy a few times live. Mostly at the Paisley Party's.
I don't think Joint 2 Joint will be a great live song, neither will Strays Of The World. Poom Poom would be great and I would LOVE to hear 'When I Lay My Hands On U' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Come on now, is there really a reason to do "Poom Poom" live? This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Does anyone really know what tracks he has not done "Live"...I mean how can a person possibly keep up with that with the numerous concerts, after-parties, paisly-parties..etc? If U set your mind free, baby, maybe U'd understand...

PoomPoom was played live in Vegas at one of those 1999 one shot concerts...can't remember if it was NewYears or in May...
Daisy Chain was played live for the first time on Easter Sunday in Atlanta in 2001..it was done during the "aftershow before the main concert." It was then played again at the Fillmore in San Fran a month later... Moonbeam Levels was played in 1986...he played about three lines of the song...if that counts

Oh this is silly - because no matter what you say there will always be some freak who comes back and says " Ah but he DID play that live...in his bathroom on the 12th Feb 1982 at 7.30 am...I WAS THERE!"
Surely he's done everything live at some point? There are tracks that I would love to hear him perform live that I haven't... 3 Chains of Gold Pink Cashmere Seven Days of Wild (yes I know! but I wasn't there!)

Sleep Around was done on Oprah...that was Live, right? Not really a fan based performance.
I agree with "The Love We Make" and "Shy". Tina (~!~)

I'm sure he played a piano version of this around February 1985 in Los Angeles during the Purple Rain tour. Bruce Springsteen was in attendance. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

Given the resurgence of Around The World material during the ONA tour, I would have liked to see Prince include Tempatation. Rock and jazz influenced, it would have been cool.

I have the fillmore aftershow on CD and i felt cheated when i looked at the tracklist and read The Daisy Chain. It's just the rhythm track played for 21 minutes or so. I can't recall any vocals or is this a different show? I hate it when bootleggers put tracklists for songs which really aren't there. That whole show(if its the one) had a killer setlist but listening to it however it was a borefest.

Do I detect just a tiny hint of sarcasm in your post? . just "tiny". lol i actually don't mind that he does these all the time. There are fans who go to see him that aren't die-hards, and enjoy hearing songs like these... i enjoy them too. I think a good mixture of some hits and more obscure tracks works best. but doesn't it seem like every show he's ever done has at least one of these 3 songs??
