I also noticed it, and agree with you. I also notice the nail polish, that is also shinier than usual. His manicure is totally on point. The only thing I can't stand is nail polish on men's. I am okay with his other beautifying methods. Prince I will always miss and love U.

Just watched Dance Electric, Prince's at the end laided it down and shreaded it with the guitar solo......... hot
The horns are amongst the tightest in the business, so glad he added the horns they give his songs more depth and fullness bravo
Still cannot stop smiling everytime I watch RnR love affair

That's funny because I think that's what making the songs sounds uber corny. Too many hornz and not enough synth. It comes across as a Vegas cover band. I will say the boy ripped it on the guitar at the end. Ugh i wish those horns weren't there.....

He should have a song titled: "Robbin the Cradle"

Maybe he's getting a bit 'dribbly' in his old age? Yellow trousers would help to hide any staining.
Would this do?
I doubt it. I reckon that could be the antidote hough. We all need a bit of head, til we burnin up.
Be grateful for small mercies. Unplugged and inaudible is some of her best work. His voice sounded rough on both tunes to me, lucky he can play a guitar.
Hello, how are youuu. I'm fine, cos I know that the doc, is coming, sooooooooon. Coming, coming, sooooooooooon.
No stretching needed. From a completely static position I listened to the 'performance' and as much as I wanted to, I couldn't deny that it was total crap. Especially when you consider what he's capable of. I couldn't give a monkeys about what he's wearing. It's nothing new is it. Think Dirty Mind knickers singing "Head".
Fair enough, R&Rse might not really need 'singing'. I spose Dance Electric similarly doesn't really need singing but both sounded poor to me. Did you hear the 'band' though? What's their excuse? They sounded about as together as Obama and Mitt or chalk and cheese.
How am I doing?
I was clubbing for most of the 90s. I only bought a few of his 'albums' during that time and that was only because I wanted to keep the official collection more or less up to date. I hardly liked any of it. If I was his producer I'd have struggled to put out a decent triple album from the whole decade. This is what you might call an annus horribilis for P. Again.
Just sayin lol.
Bang on. Not sure he needs to lose the horns though. I've been waiting for a suprise for years so don't hold ya breath waiting eh.
Got any salad cream or pickle for that chicken?
The ride. Now there's a tune. Probably everyone here gets a kick out of seeing him live. That's not the same as watching or hearing a poor live performance of a piss poor song.
Bang on.
By the sound of it, yeah. I wouldn't mind if he hid away for a bit. Maybe he'd be inspired to write something decent again. I reckon he's still got it in him somewhere, hidden behind the botox maybe? "Stars collide"? Wouldn't you need two 'stars' for them to collide? "It's tight but I can fit you in"?
Come on, it's ridiculous.
Exactly.
I like him singing low too but that wasn't pretty. Dance Electric was pretty poor too. Just about saved it with the guitar but that wasn't anything special either.
That was about as tight as your average granny. Listen to the horns for the first 20 seconds of DE.
Where's he performing? I'm not even gonna mention the other nonce.
I agree with everything but the "Laydown" bit. I don't like the song anyway though. DE was the better of the two but neither of em impressed me.
Good answer. Saved me the time. BTW, Any Given Sunday wasn't all that, not as good as Heat but not as poor as Revolution. That really was shit. He was just a fuckin lissard in that maing. He just aint what he was in the 80's etc....
Speak for yourself. I was broken years ago.
Lucky you. See, there's still a bit o love around.
He isn't doing ok. In fact, he's doing pretty badly. I was about 5-6ft away from him a few years back and he looked caked up in make-up and botoxed to the 9s. He was funky as fuck though which is all I was worried about.
Poppycock. Good that you enjoyed it all.
Now you've said it.

you know what? you guys are like my old "friends" who I don't even talk to anymore. I don't want them seeing me, I don't want to hear their rumours and opinions about me because I'm tired of their judgments. People that know you when you're young and grow older and bitter change, let's see a pic of you fuckers, lets see how baggy you're eyes are, how screwy you're fashion taste is. you guys just let yourself get old and bitter, don't take it out on Prince. I'm just glad he's ok, he don't owe us anything, and I don't expect a Little Red Corvette everytime out of the box. Go Prince!

Focus your priorities! You're supposed to be critiquing the yellow pants! When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I thought it was ok, you can only reinvent the wheel so many times, it's part of what drove Elvis to an early grave the "what the hell do I do now" syndrome. Elvis wanted to grow but was stifled by fans who wanted hound dog and he really didn't know what to do so you had him doing lounge lizard stuff and finally just collapsing on a bathroom floor in graceland. Prince is doing ok, top professionalism and he looks like a man half his age. This new song doesn't represent growth. And he looked like he'd raided Liza Minnelli's closet.

He's been in the business 30 plus years. What is he supposed to be growing into at this point? Umm... he used to wear bikini underwear and leg warmers!!! ive been watching the New York Enigma show from the Dirty Mind tour today, and it is SO CRAZY to see him flouncing around in that regalia. i will say he pulled THAT off much better than what he is trying to pull off in Autumn/2012. they say love is blind but it's also blinding. i hope he sobers up quick and checks that wardrobe. whew! The thing is he wore the glasses in Purple Rain. He did the fringe during Sign O' The Times. Yellow pants, been there and done that numerous times and assless yellow at one time. So I can't see the issue with these things now that everyone is grasping upon. possibly. it's all such a mess that i find it hard to determine. i will say that i've never liked the circle glasses. even as a child i remember thinking, "ick," when i saw the Take Me With U scene from PR.
he's been inconsistent with his style for his entire career tho. it's nothing new. there have been plenty of wtf moments over the years. it's just that he's still very attractive and can look fantastic when he gets it right. The Elvis comparison is a good one, especially at this stage in Prince's life. A long time ago a close friend of mine said Prince reminded him of Elvis and I didn't really get it, but I do now.

I saw the Dance Electric performance on the Kimmel site - one comment that has not yet been made here: Damaris Lewis dances like a total "spaz"! What's up with that "dancing"? Well, Mayte can rest assured that she's still the best backup dancer Prince has had, Damaris won't be taking that title from her anytime soon!
