He could try and squash whatever he owns and gets posted there, but every time I listen to a song or live performance on there, in the comments from the listeners, he seems to get nothing but Love, with a capital L.

Maybe it's because the music that gets posted is simply so good that the general reaction could be nothing else than that, which makes it different from here.

But if I were him, I would thouroughly ENJOY that.

Yeah, I've noticed. It's been discussed here as well.

The only ones that bash him on Youtube seem to be the ones that post here as well (using the same s/n's even, hah). Then there's some of that homophobic / racist stuff there too, but I don't think that can be avoided on Youtube.

And why should you? Really, its a musician. He's not actually your friend or anyone who knows you. He'd run away from you in fear if he ever saw you on the street. He is worth more than your entire family tree and has been getting his hair and nails done at a salon since he was 18. How do you relate to Prince? Certainly not enough to care about critiques of his output and performance.

Once upon a time, a long, long, long time ago...that used to happen here and on a bunch of other Prince FAN sites that used to exist...way before Youtube was a ever thought.

Prince is the one that put the stop to it!

Well maybe not when you don't think a little first.

You know me well enough to know that I know full well of Prince's youtube stance. Pretty much everybody knows about that here.

He gets the occ. bashers, trolls and critiques on there too. It is a different form and format so I think it is a bit like comparing apples and oranges.

Besides, nothing is staying up there now. Everything is being pulled down again. So, obviously he is more concerned about creepy corporate utube not being able to profit off him as opposed to ppl whom discover/appreciate his music.

Prince would get a lot more love if he stop playing gestapo, and lighten up a bit. How is allowing his music on YouTube hurting him? If anything, it could amp up his fanbase. Just saying.
