First time I know someone mentioned GB! Not my fav but I listened 2 it a lot when it was released...some great stuff but not a solid album imo wink

Top 5 has changed over the years

1 SOTT

2 Purple Rain (used to be at 5 or lower)

3 D&P (always top3)

4 Lovesexy (used to be my nr 1 for years)

5 3121/Musicology

TGE is gone, still a great album but I really like his 00 output, 3121/Musicolgy and the best of PE, MNPS and 2012 would be even better.

tobydavies	The first 4 are quite easy for me to choose ... Purple Rain Sign O The Times Lovesexy Love Symbol ... but I'm struglling with the 5th choice. It's not that I don't like any other albums but that there are too many I like. I'll throw in a curve ball and go with something completely different to the rest of my choices ... NEWS

might have to say Purple Rain even though I tend to like some of the songs on Sign of the Times and many other albums better (I can't listen to 'times' all the way through as a complete album, but I LOVE songs like Ballad of D Parker, If I Was Girlfriend, etc.) really love time from 1985-87, 95-98, 2001-2005)

I think I agree more with your lists than anybody else's!!! absolute LOVE N.E.W.S.!!! and Xpectation, etc. I love the jazzy/bluesy, "experimental' stuff!!!! only wish he would do more of it! NICE
