Thanks for all your positivity the Udo...NOT!!!

Please note I am not referring to the concert with any negativity at all. (did you see my questions?)

I am just not putting my head into the sand w.r.t. the stuff surrounding a concert in a foreign country.

Hope it happens. Wonder if this one will be recorded in 3d?

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

Get ready to be groped by the TSA.

Be aware that you can be held against your will indefinately, legally and without due process.

Especially when over there and even if not there. (see extraordinay rendition)

When you're there have a good look around and check your visuals against what you know of the economic and financial crimes that are happening there.

How like you to turn the possibility of a concert into an anti-American rant.

Do us a favor and stay home.

It is not anti-America. Did you ever read what I wrote?

It is the system that is totally unAmerican, totally unconsitituional. Do I need to mention that the 1% might have a tad more influence than your Joe Sixpack? Need I say more?

Y'all stick yer heads in the sand when going to America.

Let others worry about getting rid of s system that doesn't belong there. Let others make going to America a sustainable practice. Let others save that country as it is going to waste.

And also: my posting contained truthful and informative material that can help the traveller when going to the show. So if you like to point out negativity in truth then the truth is negative.

If you react as not interested in changing that negative truth then what?

falloff Oh, RodeoSchro! My bad. biggrin Have you seen he and his band perform? And, yeah, it was great seeing Prince perform with Sheila E. in Oakland. Best of the W2A performances that I saw--they still have a real chemistry on stage--when they are getting along with each other, that is! lol

No I haven't seen him perform yet lol and yeah Princey needs to bring Ms. E back lol

I'm having another jam session in October and this time I'll have it videoed and post some stuff.

I'm not very good but all my friends are phenomenal!

NOW it would be amazing if he went along with this!

I think we all don't mind seeing Prince around doing his thing! He's outside time so for him, this was just a day ago..(Him performing!) lol

I wonder if it's going to be a One Off Concert? Or maybe it will be entitled 'Superconductor' lol. I just hope he managed to perform here in Dallas! I am with Nursev on that one! smile I kind of feel, like he won't do the hits this time, but something more vague and new!

BRING IT ON PURPLE YODA!

With Prince headed back to Minneapolis, if he stays around Paisley Park for a while, I think that increases our chances of seeing a new Prince album in the foreseeable future (I mean, it couldn't hurt the chances, could it?)

As for the whole TSA/indefinite holding thing, How many people do we know who have been held indefinitely and without reason? I don't know of anyone, and I haven't heard of any controversy surrounding it yet. It's an unfortunate fact that crazy, hard core nut jobs know the laws very well and are using them to grease the system. Half the reason the war in Iraq is so troublesome is that the soldiers have news cameras up their butts all day and they have to follow very strict Rules of engagement, meanwhile their enemies rig bombs on roads where little kids play and fly jets into civilian targets. Basically some very bad people were using privacy laws that were designed for law abiding citizens as a shield to commit heinous crimes. Usually I'm ALL about personal freedom, but this is one case where the law was NOT enforcing justice, and with a 21st century world we need 21st century laws.

I don't like the idea of the government having carte blanche powers with anything, but the flip side once again is we have yet to see anyone un rightfully detained for an extended period of time. So far they have used this to catch a bunch of REALLY bad terrorist types, so in my book so far so good.

It was never happening for sure, it was just speculation. Nothing was formally signed or agreed to.

If we don't hear anything in the next week I'd say it's not happening. I always thought there was about a 10% chance of it happening anyways, Prince would want a ridiculous amount of money.

Prince has never really left Paisley Park... It's always been his home base and primary studio.
