Prince appearance in BonJovi "Lay Your Hands On Me" video..... WELL...sort of...
at the start of the version on the New Jersey video collection... people r lined up at the gate 2 get in2 the Jovi gig (filming of music video)...& someone has a 8 x 10 photo of PRINCE... but with the lips cut out & the fan's lips replace them & you hear an impersonation of Prince's voice saying stuff like how cool BonJovi are etc... then there is an Elvis & then Madonna i think. the pic is from Parade era. i just got a big kick out of that. Also on the New Jersey All Access tour video,Richie Sambora is singing 'PurpleRain' in a soundcheck & sounds brilliant! (only about 10seconds of the chorus tho) ***************************************************************************************

I won an autographed "Bounce" cd. I haven't listened to it yet though.
I was really into Bon Jovi in high school, probably even more than I was into Prince (he kinda lost me after "Parade" and I hated "UTCM" at the time). However, now that I have matured  , I can appreciate ALL of his music and I love "UTCM".
It's kinda strange that I am not as into Bon Jovi anymore. I guess it was more of a school girl fantasy thing that I had for Jon. I saw them live on the "New Jersey" tour and they were great. They are coming to my area soon on the "Bounce" tour, but I doubt that I will go. But, let it be Prince coming to my area and nothing would keep me away.
