As nobody seems to have reported it yet...

Craig davis, Sinclair (a french musician) and a famous french rock critic were invited in the trafic music show broadcasted on saturday night on french channel France 2.

They spent a long time giving props to the man and his career. It was quite interesting since they were talking about the musician and not all the usual boring bullshit surrounding Prince (name changes, religion, blablabla).

Craig Davis loves his music. He thinks he is a musical genius and mentionned that he was at the Apollo back in october and that he was blown away.

Sinclair who is actually a very gifted musician played the guitar on a typical Prince lynn drum rythm to show everybody what is unique in Prince sound.

They basically said that it was not even human to be so gifted at playing instruments. They said it is an amazing gift. Sinclair even said that for him and many musicians Prince was some kind of alien.

Craig Davis said something like when he looks at what he has done so far and what Prince has achieved in his carrer that he has an immense task for the future. He said that it gives him a lot of energy.

They agreed that Prince was happier outside the star system and that he was considered more and more like one of the greatest black musicians of the last and present century. And that he deserves it completely. They said that it is more important to him than being a huge rock star. Sinclair said he is Mozart.

Well basically...they love him.

I have to say that in France every comment I hear, every article I read about Prince is extremly positive. And quite often I hear or read the same comment : "He is so necessary in those times of musical mediocrity."

Nice! I don't like his music, but he shows taste!

I saw the broadcast... It's very impressive that those people spontaneoulsy praised his musical talents...

Sinclair even said that if he were to take one several albums before heading to an island he'd definitely take one of prince's...

Also they said that his underrated albums (gold etc...) were all major lps...

I liked the part where Sinclair did jammed on the guitar on "Come on" beat...
