Mine is "Papa" on COME.
I think it,along with 'Race',may have been reasons why the album didnt do so well (that & the name change)

I mean,ur wanting a hot record,u turn the cover over,& among 'Come,Space,Letitgo,u have 'Papa'.

I remember when i first discovered P in 1999 & was buying all the albums,i waited til i found it really cheap.

Same day tho i found Gold Experience & Emancipation,& Lenny's "5", & it was a very very goooood day!

wedding feast. i loved the music on his album: rainbow children, but that 'wedding feast' song just.. it simply, imo, didn't fit right in. kind of refreshing in a way, like a squirt in the eye from a drinking fountain, however, that song.

Agreed! Also one of my favourites of the 90's. Would have been perfect, had he not replaced Days of Wild with We March. Wasn't it in response to a reviewer saying that Days of Wild was a poor attempt at gangsta rap?

From what I've known, We March replaced Interactive at the last minute.

All are good songs. I would only agree with The Ladder, which is a good song, but just isn't a great song. She's Always In My Hair, and Old Friends 4 Sale(Original) would've been great replacements.

Oh damn, the Cat rap is the best part of the song to me. It sounded wild and crazy at the time. And I couldn't believe he faded the song before that part on the single. It would have risen higher if he had left it in back in '88.

Love just has a bit of a generic Madonna feel to it, like he was trying to get into Madonna territory. I think its a good song that could have used more work on the production to make it unique.
