I think filming Cherry Moon in black and white added this special flavor to it

I love the way the movie ends with Prince performing Mountains (love that song)lol lol

I read that it was originally shot in color but changed to black and white. Indeed, I truly think Prince could have been a great filmaker if he'd used more humility and wisdom in his choosing people to work along with him. Music, his ego led him to glory, Movies it led him to failure and humiliation outside of Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times. I think it's a what could have been type of thing. He could have been a fine filmaker. Look at all the good stuff and ignore the bad and you could see the potential.

you're absolutely right, and as you say, Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times were his best albums ever....

his best musical output occurred between the years of 1981-1987

I think he could have been a great filmaker as well
