Wouldn't U Love To Love Me - The 82 & The Sue Ann Carwell Versions

Are they circulating? So far, I'm only familiar with the 78 and 86 versions.

I have no idea why I'm so obsessed with this song. Its ok lyrically and musically, but it has a certain quirky charm to it. When I listened to the improved version from the "Perfect Unreleased" set, my love for this song was revived again. Its so cool hearing some of the instrumentation that has been poor for so many years in clear quality

Prince loved the shit out of it too, as he kept trying to get it out there for 10 years. I think it's a cute track but I'm curious what makes it stand out for people, including Prince. Didn't he offer this to MJ for Bad?

Yep! And rightfully so, because in reality, the song is nothing to go home for.

But hell, I don't know whats about it that has that addictive element. For the record, I'm mainly talking about the 78 version, I heard the 86 version only once and that was it for me lol.

Never heard the Sue Ann version never knew she recorded a version. I rediscovered the 1979 version thanks to perfect unreleased set, i loving it.

An 82 would probably be cool.

I remember hearing the 1987 revamp but the quality was just awful, i guess this is the same as the Taja version, i alwAys perferred If i could get your attention, i love the little solo in that.
