Cody Chesnutt also talks about God for at least half his set on the Roots tour.
15 minutes out of 30 is a lot of speaking. Plus it's stupid when your speech and your music contradict each other to the point that his do.

You've been dug.
Yeah, I can definetly see a little bit of Prince up in Cody, and like Prince, many peeps misinterpret Cody's lyrics and meaning. A Canadian online magazine did a little interview with Cody about his latest single with the Roots called "The Seed 2.0". It really opened my eyes, in terms of understanding Cody's overall message.

u also need to listen to Donnie - The Colored Section
and N'dambi tunin up and cosignin, and her first disc, little lost girls blues.. that will free yo mind, and yo ass will follow, and u will wonder why Prince can't produce a quality funk, jazz soul album on his own. these artists are on an independant label called giant step and that is what their music is.. a giant step away from what ja rule and ashanti radio provides u with. hell the wrecka stowes won't carry their cd's cos it's not ghetto enough, or not rock enough. take a hit off of these cd's along with cody chestnutt, and u will be on yo ass with a permanent funk face...
