I've heard this version and didn't recognize it right away, but my sister who also likes Prince loved it right away and was singing along, and when I told her after it's Prince when realizing, she loved it even more!

Oh and my stupid friend also born in the same year, we heard When Doves Cry in public 10 years ago, and I'm like, it's Prince, at the same time she's like The Romeo and Juliet song! I'm glad I didn't punch her for that cause I was ready to.
