any of his past few women would have been like "ok, let's do it right here, right now".

having his kid would asure you of a connection with him for life and the media attention etc

that come with it.

none of his women ever said "i don't want your kid prince". he just decided not to try that

anymore. he has his reasons, and we should respect those since it's none of our business

anyway.

I agree, as a parent myself, I think you would never get over the greif of losing a child - and he likely does not want to go there again. His music is his baby/family now - along with his faith which believes he will see his baby again in the new system.

Secondly, how the fuck would we know? If I spent time thinking about Prince and his opinion on having children (which I never did and don't see the point in doing) I'd never know enough to form a proper opinion. And none of us ever will. So why bother?

Probably not. I mean, if you add up all of the ladies Prince has shacked up with (Carmen Electra, Sheila, Susan, Apples, Sheena Easton, Nona Gaye, the Twinz, Jill Jones, Vanity, etc etc etc) and how many of them probably have a kid now, that's dozens of women. If it did effect him, that's sort of petty on his part.

I think if Mayte had a kid that might stir up some stuff for him, but i don't really think that he's feeling like he missed out by Mani having a kid.

And as for the "none of our business" angle, if you really think about it, ALMOST every thread on this Prince forum aside from musical analysis could probably fall into the "none of our business" area. This IS a forum to discuss Prince music, as well as Prince's life and Prince gossip in general.

I'm just glad Kickdrumz put up an original thought, at least it's not another lame appreciation thread

You know, you do realise that the vast majority of us on here are only interested in Prince's music. Right?
