1999 30th Anniversary Version?

So I just remembered that this year is the 30th anniversary of 1999 and I read somewhere that Prince is getting the master back this year and that got me thinking, what if he issued a 30th anniversary edition of 1999? Its wierd that in 1982 he was talking about the end of times in 1999 and on its 30th anniversary some people still try to hype up 2012. So the album is still relevant. And didn't he release a reworked version of Extra Loveable this year which was a 1999 outtake? That could be the lead single to the anniversary album. What do you guys think? I think its unlikely but it would be cool to get a 30th anniversary disk with remixes and some new songs there. Its either that or it'll tarnish 1999's legacy... Oh wait, the new master already did that razz plus that would mean the album would have compete with Bad 25 which means the Prince vs MJ flame war would be back in full swing! Just like the good ol days! All we need now is Reagan and the Soviets and it'll be the 80s again ^^

Yeah, right, when pigs sprout and take flight. I think that the only chance of that happening is if the label put out posthumous reissues.

If there were going to be an anniversary edition of one of his albums it would most likely be Purple Rain first. But we already got an anniversary edition of the movie, and now we have a Blu Ray, so I don't see that happening in 2014.

Or if they release it during a Roger Waters concert. lol

It is 35 years... And this law has no been tested. No one has ever gotten there masters back by this law. I know prince said he got some of them back, but unless wb just let him have them back 5 years early.

Under this law prince can get them back in 2013. That is if he has already requested them back.
