In terms of source, I would speculate that this wasn't officially sanctioned by P due to the rough tape like quality of it (probably from a tape) as well as the lyrical content!

Compare this to the 2008 leaks of Cosmic Day/Everybody Wants/Hard to get '81/Big House/Adonis/Go which to me sound at remastered quality level as if they were officially considered for a Crystal Ball style release....(lets hope!!!!)

Prince usually doesn't post his music for free download on websites. DJ's who do mixes on theire own usually do. I saw it where you saw it and dl'ed on another site seconds later.

It's popped up before in 'Extraloveable' and on both the Rebels & Prince's (later recorded by Paula Abdul) versions of 'U'(You). I think it might have a bit to do with these tracked being passed by back then. IMO.

Not at all impressed like some of you here.

Lust U Always is boring and it is good it has stayed in the Vault. I like most of the 20Ten album much better.

And alternative versions seldom get me excited, so the extended Vicky Waiting didn't do much for me either. But I am still happy for those who believe it's killer material!

This is the kind of stuff he should be releasing on albums today. The original jams from the vault released with a crisp clear sound but not re-recorded to fit the mood he's in now.

2 say the truth > i don't know (Good news if this is the case about Rave > i hope this is not a fan made compilation but the real configuration from the album)...i heard too a new unreleased version of "The line" in perfect quality ...this is a great tune from Lovesexy sessions, a very great trax in the style of Escape !!
