EXACTLY! I was thinking the same thing. Please people don't act as if you haven't had those lustful thoughts...lol. Or if you did not know what he meant.

It's that feeling when you want to 'Rip thier clothes off'...It's an extreme example of what he meant, but he is using the most example of lust. Nothing in the bad sense...

It's like saying "I can eat a horse" of course that is not really a congruent example in all respects; but when somebody wants something or feels something bad they often use something very negative or ugly to help them explain...we all know..

I see your point, I'll replace those choices with Horny Toad, andsomething else that came out in 83. Still a good jam and I'm not too disturbed by the rape lyric, I've heard far worse.

Love this track, just got it off a friend, sounds like an earlier mix of the groove from Automatic. But judging by the Linn and the sexual lyrics its definetly 1982, closer to the sound of 1999, than Controversy.

VW = Epic, interesting twists & turns and the chicken grease guitar in the first few mins is excellent, loses it's way a little at the end though. Guitar work is great throughout IMHO.

Lust u..' = sounds like a 'rebels' / controversy track - great to have & add to the collection, would have sounded great on the Controversy album. The 'rape' lyric shows a huge amount of immaturity and insensitivity - let's blame the follly of youth. I guess the same can be said for Lady cab driver.

Didn't Prince offer "Lust U Always" to Robert Palmer,sometime in the late 80s? I coulda sworn that I read that somewhere.

Actually, it's not. The first link to download that I found was an .exe. The second one I found was a .rar, which was clean. These were both on the same site.

it is the full studio verson with vocals. It is the one from 82. someone said it has been out for years... and others have said it had not. who knows but it is the full studio 82 version in great quality. not that i have heard it!

Well, I love it. I can see why it was left off 1999 - its far too direct and blunt and doesn't fit the mature vibe of the album. But the song itself is killer and definitely going to be in high rotation for me. I place this right next to tracks like Extraloveable, 1999, Delirious, Let's Pretend We're Married, Turn It Up, All The Critics, etc... All of which I love.
