No .exe with the downloads I got, very strange.

It offered a "setup.exe" for me as a download, but I think that was because I initially declined to use the download accelerator of the file sharing service. Then it directed me to a separate page that tried to get that file downloaded instead of the music files. I suppose it could have been possible to get the zipped file and the .exe file at the same time if you didn't figure out early enough that something a bit strange was taking place.

Music files will never be found in a download with an .exe extension. If that's what you downloaded, you clicked on the wrong link. It's not made easy by the fact that some file sharing websites have about a dozen links to spam or junk software for every real download link.

Back on topic: I'm loving the lines about Prince's analyst. Did Prince really have an analyst around this time, and if so, was he called Dr. Everything'll-be-all-right?

Yeah I am sure when it came down to cutting it down for the album, they played around with the mixing, lost some tracks, tightened it up etc. This is what I will now consider the "full version". Now for the rest of that album extended versions..... according to Peach and Black, when they spoke to Prince, he said there was a full version, even longer of Adore... I wonder just how many tracks have a long version/orginal full version before it was edited down for album inclusion... I would love to see all these long versions included on an extra disc for the Special Editions... 3 or 4 disc sets... orginal album configuration (remastered), then B Sides/12" maxis etc, then Original Demos/Unreleased full versions like this... I think Batman is going to be out of the quiestion though due to the use of samples from the movie... Unless Prince and WB and the film studio/actors etc can come up with an arrangement... Hopefully a simple remaster isn't such a big deal... When the album Batman reverts to Prince.. He will have to pay WB royalties for the use of the samples and actors etc! That will be a stretch but not impossible...

I would love to hear all the unreleased versions of Electric Chair, Trust, etc... If they included everything Batman released, including all Partyman remixes and Scandalous Sex Suite etc , it could fill 4 discs easily... Who knows what else is in the vault!?

It has that Purple Music/Extralovable/Turn It Up feel.

Hearing it now, damn good stuff. This would have easily topped the legendary B-sides like 17 days, Irrestible Bitch and EC if it were released, the rape reference does hinder it though. Three & 1/2 stars out five.
