And now we have another example that Prince has been occasionally rapping since 1982. "New Power slide...."

So funky. Holy hell. Vicki's Waiting is great, too. I've listened to it like four times in a row. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

This gives me real hope that we will see the connections set released. lust U Always is great, it's amongst some of my favorite unreleased music. further proof if needed the vault holds many gems for the hardcore fan. I hope the extended version of Electric Chair in this quality comes out soon. I also think we may get Princes version of flesh and blood one day, as I'm sure there was a sample of that doing the rounds.

BEWARE!
It just came out that the file of "Lust U Always" you´re all downloading is spoiled with a new version of the flame virus. Most antivirus software can´t detect it so be careful. No joke - a friend of mine has serious problems and I heard others as well. Dandruff is the first sign of madness.

Any more info on the virus threat?
MP3 files can't contain viruses as far as I know, although executable (.exe) -files might be sometimes masked as .zip or .rar -files. You'll need to execute a virus for it to install itself on your system.
Did the people getting infected download any additional .exe -files that the file sharing service offered for download in addition to the zipped files containing the music?

Vicki Waiting is a really nice version but there is a reason Lust U Always wasn't released. It's by far inferior to ALL the other 1982 songs (have to say the rape lyric is disturbing, YUCK!)

it's total bullshit, don't sweat it.

By fans ("fams") that are against bootlegs?
I'm on Linux myself, so I wouldn't be able to tell when downloads are trying to install malware on my system (because they, well, can't).

this is so weird, i've been listening to that tiny snippet of this song a lot lately Bogey and Bacall, peanut butter and jelly, Wall being on fucking point, is "classic" dipshit. An iphone is top shelf technology. Get it straight. This thing is 4g. -Wall the great

These tracks contain a potentially lethal dose of uncut funk. Ironically, any damage caused to one's computer can be removed by repeated listenings. Funk not only moves, it removes. The Census Bureau estimates that there are 2,518 American Indians and Alaska Natives currently living in the city of Long Beach.

GAH! I go away for a couple of days and songs leak.
Can't wait to hear them once I find them.

I was weary of downloading this sucker, and when it came with an .exe even more so. I had a change of heart and clicked decline, but the sucker installed itself anyway. I listened to the song and reinstalled a backup. I don't trust this thing all.Especially after the initial rave reviews to a suck-ass version. Maybe a tad paranoid but better safe than sorry. If you have a backup, use it.

Thanks for the heads up on this and naturally a big thanks to who ever leaked it... If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Am I the only one that finds the bass on "Lust U Always" a bit odd?
It's really audible in the mix - sort of unusual for an early-80's production - and it doesn't seem to follow the overall compression level of the rest of the track. The sound that's used for it and the way it's played doesn't remind me of the way Prince usually uses synths for bass lines. My mind might play tricks here, so I'm not going to jump into too big conclusions. Can someone name some other songs from the same period that would have a similar bass line?
Maybe the entire track is just boosted with an enhancer plugin and that's why it sounds so weird to me.
