DON JOHNSON AT PRINCE CONCERT?

wave HELLO TO ALL! wave

Firstly, I would like to introduce myself, as a new member. woot!

I'm from Australia and a Prince fan, since 1991. I just recently saw Prince's last Sydney concert

- PHENOMINAL! clapping clapping clapping clapping

question

I'm just wondering if anyone has any information from official sources, about Don Johnson jumping on stage at one of Prince's concerts, back in the 80's?

I've heard stories, but have never seen any articles, pictures etc., relating to the event.

Any information is appreciated. thumbs up!

I used google and within seconds I found this:

http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/w1qjE42i3nL/Don+Johnson+Kelley+Phleger+Prince+LA/cPgaG6Amz6D/Don+Johnson

Not exactly what wou were looking for, but something that indicates that he might be a fan.

*edit*:

I found something here on prince.org:

http://prince.org/msg/7/342238 (RodeoSchro's last post in this thread).

Yeah, he did. I think it was the last show of the tour, but it was in Miami.

Johnson walked out either during the encore, or right at the end of the part before the encore. He had a guitar.

According to Johnson, Prince didn't know he was coming onstage and looked at him like "What the *$*% is this?" But he recognized him quickly (Johnson was at the height of his "Miami Vice" popularity at the time) and the jam went off without a hitch.

This is the story I remember reading at the time. The story was told by Don Johnson, and I think it was in the National Enquirer or the Star (so draw your own conclusions, LOL). BUT, the story was all quotes from Johnson himself, and not the usual "a source close to Don Johnson said", so I think it was legit.

NOTE: I just read ludwig's post. Yay, me!
